TERMS & CONDITIONS
1. Introduction
These Terms and Conditions govern the sale of mobility scooters and related products by MSB. By purchasing from us, you agree to comply with and be bound by these terms.
2. Consumer Rights
In the UK, under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, consumers have the right to return goods in the following circumstances:

The item is faulty, broken, or damaged.

The item is unusable.

The item does not match the seller's description or was not advertised as such.

The seller did not have the legal right to sell the item.
2.1. Return Period
Consumers have 30 days after purchase to reject an item and receive a full refund. After 30 days, consumers may still request a repair, replacement, or a full or partial refund if those options are not feasible. Customers outside of the FY postcode area are subject to a £99 fee for collection of the mobility scooter.
2.2. Limitations on Returns
Consumers do not have legal rights to return items if:

The item was damaged by accident, misuse, or normal wear and tear.

The consumer was aware of the fault before purchasing.

The consumer bought the item in the wrong size.

The consumer changed their mind.

The item was an unwanted gift.

The item is not unused.
3. Reporting Issues
Should there be an issue with your scooter or wheelchair, this must be reported immediately upon receipt of the item by calling our office at 01253 609 311.
4. Nationwide Breakdown Assistance
We offer nationwide breakdown assistance in partnership with Autohome. For further details on breakdown cover, please visit the Autohome website here.
Optional Breakdown Assistance for Used Scooters:
We also offer optional nationwide breakdown assistance for used mobility scooters and powered wheelchairs in partnership with Autohome. This product costs £42.90 per year. For further details on breakdown cover, please visit the Autohome website.
5. Warranty
All new mobility scooters come with a 12 month warranty. If an operational issue occurs during this period, we will aim to repair the scooter promptly. Please note that any repairs must be conducted at our shop located at 54 Lytham Road, Blackpool.
Warranty on Used Scooters:
All used mobility scooters come with a 3-month warranty. This warranty covers the cost of parts, labour, repairs for sudden or unforeseen mechanical or electrical faults, and callout fees. However, the warranty does not cover: • Accidental damage. • Servicing. • Consumable items like batteries. • Wear and tear. • Punctures. • Water damage

Extended Warranty
Customers purchasing a used Mobility Scooter or Powered Wheelchair have the option to purchase an ‘Extended Warranty’, which extends the typical 3 month period up to 12 months. The cost of this is £50 per product.
5.1. Collection and Repair
Repairs can only be conducted at the Seller’s shop located at 54 Lytham Road, Blackpool, FY1 6DY. Customers within the Blackpool/Fylde postcode areas may request collection of their scooter for repairs. Customers outside of this area are subject to a £99 fee for collection of the mobility scooter.
6. Delivery
MSB Mobility offers nationwide delivery free of charge to most UK mainland postcodes (2 - 3 week delivery time).
Priority delivery is available for an additional £99 for a 2-3 day delivery service. 6.2 Return Delivery: For customers outside the FY postcode areas, there will be a £99 fee for returning the mobility scooter to our shop for any reason, whether during the 30-day return period or for any repair or service after the initial purchase.
Orders under £50.00 (excluding VAT) will incur a delivery charge of £7.95. This fee covers order processing, packaging, handling, insurance, and delivery costs. Please note that the £50.00 threshold refers to the total value of your order, including partial amounts, irrespective of VAT status.

Dispatch & Delivery Times:
Orders placed before 1pm and under £50 will be dispatched the same day, with a typical delivery time of 2-3 days. However, delivery may take longer for made-to-order items, depending on the delivery location.
We aim to dispatch all orders within 24 hours of receiving your completed order and payment, using a 3-5 working day delivery service (items under £50).
If your order hasn’t arrived within 5 working days (items under £50), please contact us. Please note that depending on availability, some items may be shipped separately, meaning you may receive your order in multiple deliveries.

8. Paypal Pay In Three
By selecting PayPal's "Pay in 3" payment option at checkout, you agree to these terms and conditions. PayPal's "Pay in 3" allows you to split your purchase into 3 interest-free payments, with the first payment due at the time of purchase. These payments will be automatically deducted from your linked PayPal account or debit/credit card in the next two months.
2. Eligibility
To qualify for PayPal Pay in 3, you must:
- Be a resident of a country where PayPal Pay in 3 is available.
- Be 18 years of age or older.
- Have a PayPal account in good standing.
- Have sufficient credit availability in your PayPal account, debit, or credit card.
3. Payment Schedule
- First Payment: The first payment will be taken at the time of purchase.
- Second Payment: The second payment will be due 30 days after the first payment.
- Third Payment: The final payment will be due 60 days after the first payment.
PayPal will notify you of each upcoming payment, and the payments will be automatically deducted from the funding source linked to your PayPal account.
4. Payment Plan Example
- Total Purchase Price: £XXXX.XX (includes VAT and shipping).
- First Payment: £XXXX.XX (due at checkout).
- Second Payment: £XXXX.XX (due in 30 days).
- Third Payment: £XXXX.XX (due in 60 days).
5. Late Payments
If you miss a payment, PayPal may charge a late fee. MSB is not responsible for any fees or interest associated with late payments. For any payment issues or to discuss your payment schedule, please contact PayPal directly.
**6. Cancellations and Returns**
- If you decide to cancel your purchase or return the mobility scooter, PayPal's standard return and refund policy applies. If your return is approved, PayPal will adjust your payment schedule accordingly.
- If you return your product after making a payment, you will receive a refund via your original payment method.
Please note that MSB reserves the right to cancel the order if there are any issues with processing your PayPal Pay in 3 payments.
7. Changes to Your Agreement
MSB and PayPal reserve the right to modify or amend these terms at any time, including the availability of PayPal Pay in 3 for your purchases. You will be notified of any significant changes in advance.

9. General Terms
- By using PayPal Pay in 3, you are agreeing to PayPal’s User Agreement and Privacy Policy.
- This payment plan is subject to PayPal’s approval and may not be available for all customers or all purchases.
10. MSB Mobility 'Scooter Club'
Payment Flexibility:
The Scooter Club program allows the Customer to pay the purchase price of a mobility scooter or powered wheelchair in installments, with the total amount due in full within six (6) months from the date of purchase.
2.2 Initial Deposit: The Customer agrees to make a non-refundable deposit at the time of purchase. The deposit amounts are as follows:
⦁ For mobility scooters and powered wheelchairs valued up to £500, a £50 non-refundable deposit is required.
⦁ For mobility scooters and powered wheelchairs valued from £600 to £1,100, a £100 non-refundable deposit is required.
⦁ For mobility scooters and powered wheelchairs valued from £1,200 to £5,000, a £150 non-refundable deposit is required.
Remaining Balance: The Customer must pay the remaining balance within six (6) months from the date of purchase. Payments may be made in any amount and frequency as the Customer desires, as long as the total balance is paid in full within the specified 6-month period.
Failure to Pay: If the Customer fails to pay the full balance within the six (6) month period, the Customer will forfeit the deposit and any payments made up to that point. The Seller will retain any monies paid as compensation for breach of contract.
Ownership and Delivery of the Mobility Scooter or Powered Wheelchair
Ownership: The Customer will not take possession of the mobility scooter or powered wheelchair until the full balance of the purchase price is paid in full.
Scooter Club can only be used as a payment option by calling 01253 609 311 and is not available online.
